Former Nigeria U-20 defender Daniel Adejo presently on trial with Scottish side Aberdeen played his first game for the team featuring in their developmental side 1-0 win over their Hibernian counterparts in the Scottish Developmental League.

The free agent who left Greek side Kalloni in December played the entire duration of the game as a right back although he is primarily a centre back.

26 year old Adejo started his European career in Italy with Serie A side Reggiana where he spent six seasons before moving to Greece 18 months ago to join Kalloni making 31 appearances in his first season at the club with three goals to his name.

Prior to leaving Kalloni in December he has already made 11 appearances in the first half of the season scoring once against Panaitolikos on the 26th of September in a league game.

His trial is seen by many as derogatory going by his pedigree as a top centre half whose career statistics should make him join the Scottish side without necessarily undergoing a trial.
