Gbolahan Salami fine run of form in front of goal continued for Finnish side KuPS with the 25 year old scoring the lone goal in their 1-0 win over PS Kemi.

Salami struck in the 13th minute. His 14th goal of the season in Finland, and it ended as the match winner for his side, who are now up to 7th on the Veikkausliiga.

Already he has surpassed the club goal scoring record of 12 league goals set in 2001 with his goal in Monday’s game against HIFK. A feat which earned him a giant trophy from the club.

The striker who has scored in his last three games in a row, is now only three goals away from top scorer Roope Riski who has 17 goals for SJK.
