The Nigeria Football Federation has set a decision date for the abandoned Federation Cup Semi Final tie between Crown FC and FC Ifeanyi Uba, which was halted in Kaduna after fans invaded the pitch before the end of the game.

FC Ifeanyi Uba were leading 2-1, when the game was called off, following a pitch invasion by fans at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium one month ago.

Fans attacked centre referee AA Ibraheem after he canceled what looked like a legitimate goal for Crown FC that would have taken the scores to 2-2.

Although FC Ifeanyi Uba are claiming they have secured the victory they need to face Nasarawa United in the final. The NFF will however rule on the game on Monday, the 24th of October 2016.
