The top scorer in the recently concluded Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Godwin Obaje of Wikki Tourist, has confirmed interest in his services from a top side in Russia.
Obaje made the bench for Nigeria in their last World Cup 2018 qualifiers against Zambia in Ndola, which Nigeria won 2-1, thanks to his exploits in the Nigeria domestic league.
19 year old Obaje scored 18 goals for Bauchi based Wikki Tourist, who finished third on the log at the end of the regular top flight season in Nigeria, and he has since been linked with a host of European sides.
However, while dismissing links of a move to Athletico Madrid of Spain, he confirmed in an exclusive chat with Owngoalnigeria.com, interest from a top Russian side.
