The man who discovered Kelechi Iheanacho the rave of the moment at Manchester City says the 19 year old will most likely end Nigeria’s wait for one of their player to be crowned the Africa footballer of the year an award sponsored by an indigenous company from the West Africa country.
Nwankwo Kanu was the last Nigerian to pick up the top award in Africa football in 2000, but Manu Garba who coached Iheanacho at Under-17 and 20 levels believe the wait is over going by how rapid the Super Eagles forward is progressing.

On areas Iheanacho need to improve in his game, the soft speaking coach urged him to focus more on putting more power in his right foot although he shoots with it but improving on that will make him take opponents by surprise.
