Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen is in talks with Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal on a possible transfer when his loan deal to Galatasary from Napoli ends on the 1st of June, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Osimhen powered Galatasary to a domestic double by helping them win the Turkish Cup and also the league with a total of 36 goals including one in the title decider win over Kayserispor.
He has 25 goals in 29 league games, 6 in seven games in the Europa League and 5 in the Europa League. A tally that is his best ever goal scoring season in all competitions.
His sensational return in front of goal has attracted lot of interests from teams around Europe, but the wages of the 26 year old is a stumbling block with Napoli demanding in excess of €70m as his transfer fee. Osimhen wants at least €10m a year.
However Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal who are in the market for a replacement for Brazilian star Neymar are willing to meet all of the conditions required to sign the forward, with Napoli also admitting that talks are underway.
According to transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, the representative of the Nigerian have so far shown interest in the move, with the Saudis now hoping for the deal to be concluded in time before the start of pre season training.
