Highly respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balagué has picked Nigeria international forward Sadiq Umar as the best January signing in ten LaLiga owing to how the fortunes of Valencia has changed since then on loan from Real Sociedad.
Sadiq has 5 goals from 12 games, and it includes crucial goals that has rescued the team from defeat like his first goal at the club which helped them to a 1-1 draw against Villarreal, his brace in the 2-2 draw against Osasuna, the winner in the 2-1 win over Real Valladolid and last weekend he was on hand to rescue them from defeat scoring to tie scores at 1-1.
