Nigeria international winger Moses Simon will be a target for top teams in the French Ligue 1 as he enters the final year of his contract with Nantes at the end of this season, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Simon has been one of the top performers in the league and recently got nominated for the Marc Vivien-Foe award which is given to the best African player in the league, he has seven goals and nine assists this season for Nantes who are battling to break free from the chasing pack in the relegation zone.
Deemed as unsellable by Nantes last year when he had around six months to run in his contract, they have softten their stance this time around and will be open to letting him leave for a substantial amount rather than lose him for free.
As many as six top teams in France have sounded out his representatives largely due to the fact that he isn’t keen on a move away from France. A situation which has left clubs abroad second favourite for his singing in the summer.
Also teams in the Gulf region particularly Saudi Arabia have also been informed that it will take a mammoth pay for the 29 year old to consider a switch there with his mind still firmly fixed on remaining in Europe for at least three more years.
