Reports had it he snubbed both teams awaiting an offer from Manchester City but the man who played through the pain barrier for Nigeria at the U-17 championship has lifted the lid on why he snubbed both teams.

“It’s not because am waiting for Manchester City because honestly i know nothing about their interest but I snubbed the offers as it wasn’t with the approval of my parents” He told owngoalnigeria.com
“The agent (Names withheld) who brought the deal failed to meet with my Dad who in turn said he won’t let his son travel with a stranger that was why the deal failed”.
The Unity Academy defender is however optimistic he will some day move to Europe but for now he is concentrating on being a better player ahead of an expected invitation to the next U-20.
“Am not in a hurry to move abroad, am very calm over my future, my main aim now is to play professional football even at home here to make myself a better player for the next level”.
