Victor Osimhen who was a subject of interest from Chelsea, PSG and heavy spending Saudi Arabia outfit Al Ahli is settling down to his new surroundings at Galatasaray following his loan move from Napoli.
Osimhen’s transfer to Galatasaray came after a failed move to Al Ahli and Chelsea with both teams failing to find an agreement for his signing before the close of the summer transfer window.
His ex teammate at Napoli Dries Mertens who is now playing for Toronto FC in the USA has expressed the reason he is happy over the move, which he confessed came as a surprise to him.
“I didn’t expect it. Victor is smart, and I am sure he made his own choices,” Insigne told Il Corriere dello Sport.
