Top division Spanish side Getafe have completed the signing of Uche Chrisantus on a four year deal from AD Ceuta of Primera RFEF, a third division team in Spanish football.
“Getafe CF and AD Ceuta FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Chrisantus Uche. The 21-year-old Nigerian footballer signs with our club for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2028,” the club announced on their official website.
As we first reported two months ago, the midfielder who was rated as one of the best players in the division will join the first team for pre season training, where he will be properly assessed for a spot in the team.
Reacting, Uche who left Nigeria two year ago and was part of the U23 team of Nigeria that failed to make it to the AFCON thanked AD Ceuta for providing a platform for him to make a stepup to the top division.
“This club will never leave my heart. I love them all, both the coaches, the management and the players, and the most beautiful of all, the fans, they are so incredible. I really appreciate what they gave me. I love them all, always in my heart,” he said on Instagram.
