Rasheed Olabiyi move to MLS side Houston Dynamo from Shooting Stars was done for $850,000 but the Glo Nigeria Professional Football league side got nothing out of the deal.
The entire proceed from the transfer went to Fame Academy of Lagos who were his right owners despite the player’s long term stay at Enyimba FC of Aba.
However he moved to Houston Dynamo from Shooting Stars a team he joined yet on loan after three years at Enyimba.
Olabiyi is not the only player in the Nigeria top flight league whose economic rights belongs to Fame Academy with Gbolahan Salami last season top scorer another name belonging to the academy.
