Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has named a squad of 23 players who will prosecute Nigeria’s World Cup Qualifiers games against Liberia and Cape Verde respectively.

The list officially released by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) earlier today has seven players on standby as their are doubt surrounding the players based in the United Kingdom for the away game against Cape Verde.

Cape Verde is on the red list of countries where travellers returning to the UK will need to quarantine for ten days as they bid to stem the spread of coronavirus. The seven players will step up into the list if the situation stays same.
