Ahmed Musa To Play For Kano Pillars For Free, Donates Bonus To Orphanages

The captain of the senior national team of Nigeria Ahmed Musa has told Kano Pillars that he will be playing for the team for free as a way of repaying them for the role they played in his development.

Musa secured a move abroad to Dutch side VVV Venlo after excelling for Pillars but no with his career at cross roads now he has returned to same club eleven years after his first spell.

After his unveiling by the Governor of Kano state yesterday Umar Ganduje, the 28 year old confirmed that his return to Pillars is part of his way of thanking the team for the role they played in his development.

“ I am not going to earn a salary while playing for Kano Pillars. It’s my own way of saying thank you for the role they played in my career. I have also told the management to hand my bonus to any orphanage of their choice”, Musa said during yesterday’s unveiling ceremony.
