Former captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Vincent Enyeama has renewed his contract with French side Lille until the summer of 2019, a sign that he could end his career at the French club.

33 year old Enyeama has made over 200 appearances for Lille since joining the team in the summer of 2011 from Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv and his current deal will run till he turns 37 when he could decide to retire.

He played second fiddle to Mikel Landreau in his first three seasons at the French side which limited him to just a handful of games in the domestic cups and Europe, a situation that made him return back to Israel on loan where he pitched tent with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

He spent a season in Israel but an eventful one it was as he helped Maccabi Tel Aviv win the league before returning back to Lille after his loan spell and has remained the first choice goalkepper in the last three season.
