The father of Wolverhampton Wanderers teen defender Dominic Iorfa has refused to comment on speculations linking his son with a move to English Premier League side Crystal Palace.

The 20 year old defender is drawing interest from numerous clubs this summer but reports has it that Crystal Palace are front runners for his signature.

His father, a former Nigeria international Dominic Iorfa has now added fuel to the fire by refusing to comment on talk of a move to the beaten English FA cup finalist but admitted his son is ripe for Premier League football.

The owner of Nigeria League team Dreams FC told Owngoalnigeria.com in January that a bid of £4m from West Ham was rejected by Wolves during the January transfer window insisting that the market value of the fast rising teen will be higher in the summer.

” I do not want to comment on this rumours but it is about time he make the step up to the English Premier League but for now we wait and see” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.

Iorfa has played 69 professional games since making the step up to professional football with a loan move to Shrewsbury Town in 2013 and the bulk of his appearances have come in the last two seasons with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship.

Already an established international for England at youth level he still remains eligible to play for Nigeria at senior level although his father has ruled out any chance of him switching to Nigeria for now due to the unorganised way football is currently being administer in the country.
