Napoli and Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen is in line for a earlier than expected return to competitive football after suffering a shoulder injury against Nigeria.
The forward has been out injured since the game for Nigeria against Sierra Leone in Benin City with Coach Gennaro Gattuso confirming that he will likely be back for the game against Lazio.
However that is no longer the case as he returned to training earlier today, three weeks to the date he is expected to be fully fit according to coach of Napoli Gattuso.
He is now in contention to play some part against Inter Milan on the 16th of December but he could be on the bench as early as this Sunday when they play Sampdoria.
It means he is in course to return back to the picture two weeks before the date many expect him to return from what as slowed him down just when it appears he has settled down in his new surrounding following his record breaking move.
