Nigeria U23 left fullback Godfrey Bitok Stephen has tested positive for coronavirus in Belarus where he plays for Isloch, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Bitok was a part of the U23 team of Imama Amapakabo that failed to qualify for the Olympic games by crashing out at the group stage of the Africa U23 Cup of Nations.
A regular for his team Isloch, the 19 year old who was voted in the team of the week after the last round of game has since been isolated following the commencement of treatment for the virus.
The League in Belarus was the only tournament going on in Europe until last week when they too had to shut down after recording cases of coronavirus last week.

He is for now the first Nigerian football to test positive for the virus that is currently sweeping through the world and has led to a halt in most economic activities which has resulted in a loss of finance for most.
