Valerenga striker Peter Godly Michael has returned to full training with his Norweagian club after recovering from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury that sidelined him for a major part of last season.
Speaking exclusively to OwngoalNigeria.com, the frontman stated that clubs have been granted permission to resume training as himself and his team mates returned to the pitch on Monday.
“My injury was a big setback for me but I thank God I have been able to recover from it. It was a long lay-off for me but I’m glad to be back. I’m focused on working hard to help my team win trophies this season”.
The young attacker also revealed authoritatively that the Norway Government has given the green light for the league in the country to resume on the 16th of June and clubs have returned to training although still observing strict health protocols.
Godly said “goodnews came to us last weekend when it was approved that the Eliteserien will start on the 16th of June. This is a good development for us because we all miss football.
Peter joined Valerenga in 2018 after starring for NNL side Crown FC. He was invited by top sides in Belgium and Sweden before he agreed a four-year deal in Norway.
