Players of the senior national team of Nigeria have departed their base in Europe for Singapore ahead of October 13 international friendly game against Brazil, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Bar goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa all invited players are expected to travel from their various base in Europe for the game, which is coming hot on the heels of their 2-2 friendly draw against Ukraine last month.
Coach of the team Gernot Rohr was pictured alongside the Spanish based trio of Samuel Chukwueze, Ramon Azeez and Chidozie Awaziem of Villarreal, Granada and Leganes respectively.
Azeez is staging a return to the team after a five years absence while the duo of Awaziem and Chukwueze are established players in the team owing to their performance at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, where the Super Eagles finished third.
Rohr expect all invited players to at least be in the camp of the team by Thursday for the start of training as he plan to have three days of preparations with the team before the game on Sunday.
