31 year old Nigerian forward Bartholomew Ogbeche is high on the wishlist of FC Twente as a replacement for another Nigerian Michael Olaitan whose loan deal was terminated by the club.
Olaitan’s loan move didn’t work out as plan and the 23 year old was at yesterday close to joining Belgium side Kortrijk with Twente swiftly responding by sounding up Cambuur forward Bartholomew Ogbeche.

Ogbeche who was at the World cup in 2002 with Nigeria has been a big hit since moving to the Netherlands and this season has scored 9 times in 14 games for Cambuur.
His deal at Cambuur is set to expire at the end of the season a situation which might force them to cash in on the much travelled striker who has played in Spain,England,Greece and UAE in the past.
However Cambuur might be reluctant to sell to a direct rival in FC Twente with both teams seperated by 3 points at the bottom of the Eredivisie table and battling to beat the drop to the second division.
FC Twente are placed 16th while Cambuur are 17th on the 18 team league table in the Netherlands.
