‎He came into the squad by divine intervention after top players in the team failed the mandatory Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test for age cheat but Divine Nwachukwu should not be taken lightly.

The 15 year old stole the show for the Nigeria U15 at the Africa Youth Games with six goals in four games, building on the reputation he earned at the NFF/Zenith Bank U15 Championship, where he was also the top scorer.

He arrived the camp of the Nigerian team few days to the naming of the final squad and yet made the team ahead of some players who have been with the team for months, a testament of his undeniable quality.

For a player of his age, the fact that he can shoot with both feet, score with ease, get past his man with quick feet and also use his pace to good effect, he could be the joker for the Nigerian team at the U17 Africa Cup of Nations starting tomorrow in Tanzania.
