Super Eagles World Cup 2018 striker Simy Nwankwo is in line for a summer move to Italian Serie A side Lazio from Serie B side Crotone at the end of the season on a free transfer, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
According to several news sources in Italy, the lanky striker has agreed a deal worth €3m in salary yearly for the next three season and he will join on a free transfer with his contract with Crotone set to expire in June.
Simy turned down a January move to Belgium insisting on seeing out his contract with Crotone where he has scored 11 goals from 26 games this season with three assists as well despite a slow start to the season.
Lazio are confident that he will shun other offers in favour of a chance with them as they are currently pushing for a spot in next season UEFA Champions League, something that will no doubt entice the 26 year old Nigerian.
