Imama Makes Six Changes To Nigeria U23 Lineup, Osimhen, Awoniyi & Chukwueze Start

Coach of the Nigeria U23 team Imama Amapakabo has dropped six players from his starting lineup for today’s second leg clash against Libya.

Imama whose team need to score at least three unreplied goals to seal their spot in the next round of qualifiers made changes in goal where Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho comes in for Adamu Abubakar who was red carded in the first leg.

In defence, the duo of Joshua Akpudje and Stephen Egbe were axed for Valentine Ozornwafor and Chidozie Awaziem with John Lazarus also missing out with Etboy Akpan taking his spot at right back.

In the midfield, the coach maintained the duo of Kelechi Nwakali and captain Azubuike Okechukwu while in attack Blessing Olabiran and Dennis Bonaventure were replaced with Victor Osimhen and Orji Okonkwo starting in a 4-2-4 formation.
