He continued, “The financial aspects are not always decisive. But we had very good conversations with 1860 Munich sporting director Oliver Kreuzer.”

Uduokhai has been with the team since he was 8 year old and has progressed rapidly through the ranks of the team making over 50 appearances across the team youth ranks.

18 year old Uduokhai made his Germany’s under-19 debut in November a sign of how he has grown in his footballing abilities over the last one year.

Despite representing Germany he is still eligible for Nigeria at senior level through his parents who are migrants from the West Africa nation.

Although he is yet to make his competitive debut for the first team, He has proven with his performances for the reserves that he won’t be out of place if given a look in by the handlers of the main team.
