Samson Tijani – The captain of the Nigerian side bossed the game in the midfield for Nigeria. Deployed as a defensive midfielder, his ability to turn defense into attack was one key element he displayed during the game.

Olatomi Olaniyan – Partnered Tijani in midfield and was very lively with or without the ball. Came close to scoring with a ferocious shot from far in the first half. More should be expected of him.

Akinwunmi Amoo – Left footed, quick and skillful. His show of strength in duels and abilities to skip past his markers was top notch during the game. He however still need to work on his final ball into the box.
