Two members of the Nigeria U-17 team that won the 2015 U-17 World cup for Nigeria, Orji Okonkwo and Kingsley Michael hope of joining Chelsea have been dashed.
The duo Owngoalnigeria.com gathered were proposed to the Blues hierarchy by their agent former Nigeria international Daniel Shittu but after checks on the players, Chelsea opted against having them.
Chelsea youth team is reportedly one of the best in the United Kingdom and with so many talented youngster on the fringe of the first team they are stock for the next two years except an exceptional talent come through from outside.
Shittu also failed in his bid to sell the talented duo to Watford after the U-17 World cup and owngoalnigeria.com gathered since the botched Chelsea proposal he is yet to communicate the next step to the duo.
