Former Nigeria U20 ace Suleiman Abdullahi is closing in on a move away from relegated German second division side Eintracht Braunschweig according to his agent Atta Aneke.
Reacting to a news about the potential departure of his client to newly promoted second division side Nuremburg, Atta explained that the forward has received several offers from clubs in Germany as he prefers to remain in the country.
” Suleiman can not play in the 3rd division in Germany due to his nationality ( League rules), we have some offers in Germany where he prefers to stay, just waiting for Braunschweig to accept one of the bids”, Aneke explained.
Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that the forward who scored seven goals and provided five assists last season turned down an approach from MLS side New York Red Bulls.
