The much rumoured permanent summer transfer of Ahmed Musa from English Premier League side Leicester City has been placed on hold by the club, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Musa spent the second half of last season on loan at his former club CSKA Moscow and he was widely expected to be sold by the club this summer after failing to impress since his £16m move to the club.
Leicester City have now decided against selling the 25 year old who is courting interest from Turkish giants Galatasary, Portuguese side Benfica, French side Olympique Marseille and also fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.
A member of his management team confirmed to Owngoalnigeria.com that Musa has been ordered by the club to resume for pre season. A move which is partly down to his fine performance at the World Cup for Nigeria.
