Inter-Milan and Croatia flying winger Ivan Perisic has warned his teammates to be wary of the Super Eagles of Nigeria when both teams clash in Kaliningrad tomorrow in their opening group D Russia World Cup 2018 game.
Perisic is of the opinion that Nigeria are a very physical side who are also blessed with pace to burn. A fact which according to him makes it hard for them to be predicted during games.
” Nigeria are not new to appearing at the World Cup. They are very very hard to predict and they can play with pace. Sometimes you have to wonder if they are ever tired of running “, Perisic said while taking a look at the game.
He however said Croatia will work hard to impose themselves very early into the game to knock the wind off the sail of Nigeria, who according to him can use their pace to good effect late into games.

” The idea is to start early and on the front foot. Nigeria can hurt us with their pace late into the game but if we start early, we’ll no doubt contain any late onslaught from them”.
