22 year old Nigerian midfielder James Omonigho Igbekeme has secured a high profile transfer to Spanish second division side Real Zaragoza from Portuguese side Gil Vincente.

Igbekeme is joining the Spanish side from the ‎second division Portuguese side for a fee in the region of €360,000 which breaks his deal which was suppose to run till the summer of 2020.

Comfortable as a left winger or as an attacking midfielder, he worked his way up from the U19 of another Portuguese side called Ribeirao before moving to Oliveirense from where he moved to Gil Vincente on a free transfer last year.

Last season he scored five goals from 32 games in even though Gil Vicente once again failed to gain promotion to the top division in Portugal. He will be hoping for better fortune at his new side who are also eyeing promotion to the top division in Spain.
