Africa Cup of Nations 2013 winner Brown Ideye is pushing for a return to Greek side Olympiakos a little over a year after leaving them for a big money adventure in the Far East where he joined Chinese side Tianjin Teda.
He started his stint in China with a bang but later had issues with the management of the team which led to his demotion to the Reserves of the Chinese side before he secured a loan move to struggling La Liga side Malaga in January.
At Malaga he scored once from 13 games as they fail to preserve their top flight status, which played a role in their decision to turn down the option of turning his loan deal into a permanent deal for a fee in the region of €2m.
30 year old Ideye still has a year to go on his contract with Tianjin Teda but they are willing to listen to offers for his service but will demand a premium as transfer fee if he eventually moves.

A loan move looks more likely but there is also the issue of his wage with the Chinese side unwilling to pay the higher percentage of his salary, something many teams interested in him will bulk at just as Olympiakos although they are in the market for a striker.
