The performance of Wilfred Ndidi in the Super Eagles training session at their camp in Austria has caught the attention of Austria based Nigerian journalist Samuel Thompson.
Thompson who has been monitoring the Super Eagles of Nigeria on behalf of Owngoalnigeria.com said Ndidi has shown enough quality to be regarded among the top five midfielders in the world in his position.
” I watched closely the game against Czech Republic and I was stunned at his energy level. Many watching on television won’t see it. Ndidi played almost every position during the game. He didn’t stop running. That’s incredible “, Thompson said.
He went further by suggesting that Ndidi improves everyday as the performance he displayed against Czech Republic in the 0-1 loss didn’t match his showing in yesterday’s training session.
