The agent of former Enugu Rangers star Obinna Nwobodo who recently lifted the Hungarian Cup with Ujpest has praised the attitude of the 21 year old after his debut season in Europe.
Nwobodo was on from start to finish for Ujpest in the final of the Hungarian Cup which they won 4-2 on penalties after both teams fail to earn a winner following a 2-2 draw during regulation time of the final game against Puskas Academy.
Signed by Ujpest in the summer, Nwobodo ended the season playing 29 games in the league with two goals to his name. A high tally considering the season was his first with the club and also his first stint abroad.
Speaking to Owngoalnigeria.com his Belgian agent Stijn Vanlerberghe said the Nigerian has displayed an attitude of understanding which has made managing him very easy and fun filled.

He rounded up by saying Nwobodo will star in the Europa League next season for Ujpest and he is confident that the former Nigeria U20 midfielder will make a huge impact in the tournament.
” The Europa League will bring out the best in him. No doubt he will be one of the stars of his team. The speed with which he has adapted to live in Hungary is enough reason to expect him to do well in the tournament “.
