Former captain of the Nigeria U20 team Abduljelil Ajagun scored one of the goals that gave Kortrijk a 4-1 win over Waasland-Beveren in the Belgium play offs.

The 25 years old who captained Nigeria at the 2013 World Youth Championship ‎scored in the 73rd minutes to round up a comprehensive 4-1 win in their opening game of the play-offs.

He now has four goals this season, one goal short of his last season goal count of five for Roda JC, where he spent the whole of last season on loan from Greek side Panathinaikos.

Ajagun has rediscovered his form at Kortrijk this season with 26 games under his belt‎, a form which has led to speculations about a move away from the modest Belgium side.
