Akwa United forward Gabriel Okechukwu can easily pass as the star of the much talked about Super Eagles 7 a-side game which was won by a John Ogu inspired team 5-4.
Owngoalnigeria.com correspondent witnessed the training session which was the first on pitch training of the team ahead of tomorrow’s friendly game against Serbia.
The training match was prosecuted by players who didn’t start the friendly game against Poland which Nigeria won 1-0 on Friday in Wroclaw, although goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho started in goal.
Gabriel Okechukwu scored twice in the session, more than any player with Moses Simon also scoring for his team who clawed their way back from 3-0 to 3-3 before finally losing 3-5.
