HNK Rijeka of Croatia Nigerian forward Theophilus Solomon has given an insight on how Croatia are warming up for their World Cup 2018 group clash against Nigeria.
Solomon who is presently out on loan to Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia from the Croatian side has been leaving in Croatia for four years, and he was there when the draws were made.
Croatia are grouped alongside Nigeria, Argentina and Iceland in group D, and ahead of the first ever metting between both nations, Solomon has revealed how the Croatians view Nigeria.
” I was with some players of the Croatian national team when the draws were made and although they admit they are in a straight battle with Nigeria to qualify alongside Argentina. They are still confident of their chances”, Solomon told Owngoalnigeria.com.
