Once rated as one of the top prospect in Nigerian football, Haruna has unsuccessfully tried to bring his career back to light since leaving Dynamo Kiev , following the expir‎ation of his deal at the club.

A stint with Anzhi in Russia and Astana in Kazakhstan all faired to provide the spark needed to bring his career back on track, and even though he was widely tipped to sign for French second division side Lens in the summer. The move fell through.

A decision on his potential signing is expected to be made in the coming days, but only after he must have proved himself in test games with the team who are currently placed second on the log in the Prva Liga in Macedonia.
