Portuguese top division side FC Porto have recalled former Nigeria youth international Chidera Ezeh from his loan with fellow top division side Portimonense.

Last season Ezeh was instrumental in helping Portimonense gain promotion to the top division in Portugal, a form which made them extend his loan for another year.

However, unlike last season he has struggled to get games this season, a situation which has forced Porto to terminate his loan deal, and he will represent their B team who are playing in the second division.

Rated as one of the top prospect in the Nigerian U17 team that won the 2013 World Youth Championship, he has battled with injury issues since signing professional terms with FC Porto.

20 year old Ezeh made 13 appearances last season for Portimonense, and so far he has played just twice this season following their promotion to the top division in Portugal.

At Porto B, he will link up with his former teammate at the Nigeria youth national team in Musa Yahaya who has been ever present for the Porto side who are top of the second division with 41 points, four points more than second place Academica.
