Lillestroem Signs Nigerian Youngster Jerome Philip, Defers Decision On Three Others

Norwegian side Lillestroem have signified their interest to sign one of the four Nigerian youngsters currently on trial with the team, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The quartet of Zaidu Ayuba, Ibrahim Mohammed, Thompson Jacob and Jerome Akor Philip have been on trials with the team since the start of the week‎, and a decision has been made on Jerome.

While a decision on the potential signing of Thompson, Ayuba and Mohammed have been differed until after their next test game next Saturday, talks have already started over the transfer of Jerome. ‎

Jerome scored the fourth goal for Lillestroem in a friendly game yesterday which they won 4-0 ‎against Strommen IF. His goal came minutes after he came on as a substitute, with the manner which he scored it the more impressive.
