Ex Spurs Trainee Musa Yahaya Shining Bright For FC Porto, Bags Assist Vs Academica

Former Tottenham Hotspur trainee Musa Yahaya is turning heads at Portuguese side FC Porto, where he has emerged as one of the key players for the B team who are campaigning in the second division.

Yahaya joined Porto last season, but despite training frequently with the first team he wasn’t quite a regular for the B team until this season, thanks to his new role as a wing-back.

Since switching to the role towards the end of last season, he has cemented his spot in the B team and only recently earned praises from legendary former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who is now his teammate at Porto.

Last weekend, Yahaya who has two goals to his name bagged his second assist of the season in their 1-2 loss to Academica.. A sign of how well he has progressed the past six months.
