Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Brian Idowu has revealed the reason why he opt to play for Nigeria ahead of the land of his birth Russia.
The Amkar Perm left full back who attended the pre match conference for Nigeria’s friendly game against Argentina tomorrow said it was clear to him that Nigeria wanted him the most.
” I feel great ( with Nigeria ), I have been well received by both players and coaches. The atmosphere is very positive. For me this is a huge chance and experience”, Idowu said.
“As for why I’m not playing for Russia, I shouldn’t be asked this question. I want to go to the World Cup for Nigeria, because they believed in me.
