Captain of the senior national team of Nigeria John Obi Mikel has joined the rest of soccer loving Nigerians in imitating the goal celebration of Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi.
Iwobi celebrated his winner for Nigeria in their 1-0 win over Zambia with his trademark goal celebration style using his hands to cork and shoot like a man with a gun.
The celebration has become famous with most Nigerians on social media recreating it as the joy of Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup continues in cities across the nation.
Team captain John Obi Mikel was caught imitating the celebration shortly after Iwobi’s goal, and the photo of the former Chelsea man performing the celebration has been made available to Owngoalnigeria.com.
