Nigeria international Anthony Nwakaeme rose from the substitute bench to draw Hapoel Be’er Sheva level but ended up on the losing side as they Viktoria Plzen ran out 3-1 winners.
Nwakaeme was surprisingly left on the bench, but with his side trailing the home team by a lone goal, he was introduced for Ben Sahar in the 62nd minute of the Europa League clash.
Seven minutes after his introduction he drew his side level with a smart finish, but they fail to hang onto the leveller and ended up losing 3-1 to drop to second position with same point as Plzen.
FC Steaua Bucuresti of Romania are top of the group with six points going into the third round of games, which are going to be played after the international weekend.
