As first reported by Owngoalnigeria.com SuperSport United has confirmed the signing of Nigeria World Cup 2014 defender Azubuike Egwuekwe on a three year deal.
Three days ago we reported his planned transfer from KuPS of Finland to Premier South Africa League side (PSL) SuperSport United with the Finnish side confirming his departure was close.
Egwuekwe has 22 senior national team caps for Nigeria and was a part of the team that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, and also made the cut to the World Cup in Brazil.
He also represented Nigeria at the 2013 Confederations Cup and also the 2013 Africa Nations Championship popular referred to as CHAN Championship meant for players based in their various domestic leagues in Africa.
