Former Chelsea defender Celestine Babayaro has backed the decision of on loan Chelsea defender Ola Aina , who has committed his international future to Nigeria despite representing England at various youth levels.
Aina could debut for Nigeria in their Wolfsburg Cup 2018 Qualifiers back to back clash against Cameron after being named in the Nigerian squad for the top of the table clash billed for 1st and 4th of September in Uyo and Yaounde respectively.
Presently out on loan to Hull City, the full back has earned praises for his performance in the games he has played for the Tigers, and that has convinced Babayaro on his readiness for international football.
” He is above 20, when I was his age I had around six to seven senior caps for Nigeria. No doubt with the improvement he has made at Hull City, he is ripe and ready for Nigeria “, Babayaro said.
