Coach of the home based team of Nigeria Salisu Yusuf has listed 20 players for their upcoming qualifiers against Benin Republic this weekend in the CHAN Qualifiers.
The team are expected to depart Kano, where they have been having their training camp for Lagos tomorrow before making the road trip to Benin Republic ahead of the first leg tie on Saturday.
Captain of Plateau United Elisha Golbe and Nigeria Premier League record scorer Mfon Udoh of Enyimba were dropped after picking up injury in their club’s fixtures last weekend.
Goalkeeper Okemuite Odah, Austin Oladapo, Chinedu Ajanah, Prince Aggreh, Emeka Atuloma, Jamiu Alimi and Chiamaka Madu were the others axed by coach Salisu Yusuf.
