Italian Serie A side Roma are yet to give fellow Serie A side Crotone the all clear in their bid to have Sadiq Umar on loan next season, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Last season Crotone made a bid to have the lanky 20 year old on loan before he decided to join Bologna, where injuries and fitness issues limited his performance for the team as he only managed seven league appearances .
Back at Roma, he has so far scored in their last consecutive pre season games, and reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com has it that he is very much a favourite of new coach Eusebio di Francesco.
However the club are willing to allow him leave on loan, but for now they want to see how well their new signings in attack will adapt before sanctioning any move away for the forward, whose goal against PSG helped them draw 1-1 although they later lost 3-2 on penalties.
