Leicester City Vice-Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has revealed the reason why Kelechi Iheanacho’s move from Manchester City is not yet official despite both clubs agreeing on his transfer.

A fee in the region of £15m which could potentially rise to £19m has been agreed between both parties but the deal is being held up by legal issues between the former agent of the 20 year old and his present agent.

“Yes, we have interest in him,” he said. “But we have to wait for Manchester City’s stance on this, as they are still in their pre-season as well. If it happens, it will be soon.

“Leicester City’s transfer market is not over yet. We just signed three players and there will be at least one more.
