The transfer of Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong is still hanging in the balance as Bursaspor are yet to agree on a fee for his transfer with his team Gent.
Bursaspor have agreed a three year deal with the 23 year old defender but an agreement between both clubs is still far off as Gent refused Bursaspor’s first bid of €1m as exclusively revealed by this portal.
Contrary to reports in the Turkish media which says a fee has been agreed between both teams for his transfer, informed sources revealed that both teams are still some ways apart in their valuation of the player.
” Talks are ongoing but no fee has been agreed for his transfer yet. Hopefully soon but for now Bursaspor opening offer of €1m was rejected by Gent, but they are talking and hopefully a compromise will be reached.
” Gent are demanding a fee close to 5 million euros, which many believed will definitely be lowered based on talks with Bursaspor but Gent are also running the risk of losing him for free next summer. I believe the move will be done in few days time”. He said.
